  3. Policy intersects with almost every academic field. Many research or knowledge products can effect greater change if they are also communicated to non-academic audiences in the policy world. This 90-minute workshop facilitated by Dr. Heidi Tworek and KJ Sharan will introduce participants to strategies of policy communication and communications as an advocacy tool. Topics include the purpose of policy communication, choosing the right format, op-ends, policy briefs, identifying your audiences, writing tips.
